Wall.E: A Love Story With a Message..

When I saw the trailer last winter I knew it’s main character a cute lovable robot with a heart  would be a great addition to the studio’s already impressive list of animated characters.  What Pixar has done is take it one step further and given us a pop culture Icon, he couldn’t have come at a better time as global consumption begins to take its toll on the planet. Wall.E gives us a glimpse of a dystopian future that is lonely and devoid of human life but with love and hope we can prevail. (more…)

If you haven’t had enough of the Star Wars Clone Wars Trilogy, Lucasfilm is releasing the Clone Wars CGI
in theaters. It’s bascially a remake of the very popular animated series on the Cartoon Network.
Many claim it’s was the template on which the Clone wars films should have been made.

Starting this Saturday(June 28)

Rapper Snoop Dogg recently left the recording studio, recording tracks for Dr. Dre’s highly anticipated album, Detox.

“That record is real it’s coming,” Snoop Dogg said during an interview today (June 25) on Big Boy’s Neighborhood. “You know me, I was starting to doubt it myself and then I went up in there and he played so much music for me it knocked my head off.”

Bad Company

A demo is just a demo until you explore the final version. A trial sized bottle of shampoo is only really good for one thorough washing. Unless you’re bald. The same goes for video games and other digital media.

With battlefield Bad Company nothing is the same. Finally, something I can replace Call of Duty 4 with.A solid single player campaign is in order with a plethora of weapons and mobility options. Though the graphics can be a bit grainy, the clarity of vanishing points and visibility go a long way.

Can I get a raise of hands who has ever wanted to blow up a building? Yea. Thought so. With BC you don’t have to worry about enemies running behind cover. Chances are there is something within reach to remove that cover and pop whoever was behind it, truly the lazy man’s war.

If you’re getting tired of constant run and guns, lucky-ass nades and thoroughly scripted movements, check out BC. Though the controls and feeling of the game is something to get used to and some of the hit detection is a little slow/off, it’s still a lot of fun to tool around with.
