The other pics are from Kat & Ricardo’s Bday Dinner Party we had at my crib. It was like a baker’s dozen all eatin and I was sweatin my ass off in the kitchen, wearing socks w/ flip flops (korean thing). Kat and a few of her friends are vegetarian which I respect so I made everything ok for them to inhale. The menu was: greens (put all y’alls mama’s to shame, sorry), hushpuppies w/ maple butter, cajun catfish, roasted carrots and parsnips, jalapeno & corn cornbread w/ red pepper jelly, okra pickles, and mac n’ fo-cheez. “Energy 2 burn” is the name of the new additional party I host and deejay at South Williamsburg hot spot Trophy bar. This week I will be joined on the decks by one of my favorite producer/dj/people Doug Lee aka Lee Douglas. He’s produced some phenomenal neo-disco 12′ for the Rong, Wurst and DFA labels. You heard the Hype, is The Dark Knight the Greatest “Comic Book” movie of all time ?

If you want to put it in that category then yes. Heath Ledgers performance as the Joker?, There will be no other from this point forward. His characterization captures the essence of comic book’s most popular villain.  Ledger’s performance blurred the lines of reality and fiction giving us a glimpse of the demons that may have been conjured up during the intense acting process.  I’m convinced this role challenged him emotionally during filming and made it hard for to adjust to the normal routine after production.
