Holiday Films: The Wrestler, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

I saw The Wrestler this weekend and yes Mickey Rourke should win an Academy Award.
The Film in itself is mediocre, however this is the perfect vehicle to showcase the talented actor who fell from grace in the early 90’s with Angel Heart and Wild Orchid. Darren Aronosfky’s The Wrestler is the Rocky for the coddled generation and It’s certainly worth checking out.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

I always look forward to a David Fincher film especially when it reunites both him and Brad Pitt. Seven and Fight Club defined filmaking of the  90’s.
