The other night I was giving a friend an impromptu tour of the Clinton Hills area in Brooklyn when we came across one of my favorite swanky little watering holes, Sputnik’s. I’d been taking notes on local hot spots and wanted to get Sputnik’s address, but I didn’t have a pen and I didn’t want to save the info in my phone, separating it from my other notes on paper.

That’s when I met Geo. Geo was the only person out of the 15 to 20 there who actually had an ink pen in his possession. I mean I can’t fault everyone else. I mean, with all the Blackberry’s and Smart phones flying off the shelves who needs an ink pen? I even wrote the draft to this article on my Pocket PC. I mentioned to Geo that he was probably the only person in the world who still carried an ink pen, and that’s when the dialogue started. (more…)

-iBeat-The Inglorius Basterds Trailer has been unleashed onto the internet and I’m not too excited. Brad Pitt is a little bit too over the top for me and the music hurts my tender ears. Thoughts?

-Blac Ren- This is the Dirty Dozen reformatted for the coddled generation, however Tarantino has returned to form with Kill Bill and Death Proof so let’s wait and see. The music is cornball and I’m feelin it!

I got my 40oz of Old English and ready to game.
