Desperate “Glee” for Attention

Big June here, and all Gay Jokes aside, Glee is the Happiest new comedy on Fox. It’s basically a pun of High school musical but a more up to date version. The basis of the story is a teacher starts up a glee club and the school cheer leading coach doesn’t like her program funding being cut for the Glee club endeavors. With a whole cast of colorful characters singing their versions of the top songs of today it seemed to have some real promise

Now Normally after a TV show has several seasons under it’s belt it resorts to cheezy tricks to get noticed out of the myriad of new shows with young new writers who have more subject options considering it’s their first season. Well Glee is only in their first season but they already started stealing concepts like the youtube viral sensation of a single man dancing to the Beyoncee knowles hit song “Single Ladies”. It’s Kinda the same way the TV show “Dirt” f/ Courtney Cox based quite a few of it’s episodes off of topics discussed on the popular magazine show “TMZ” and you see where that got them.
