New Fashion Label To Watch: Strong & Dickerson

Strong & Dickerson is a Venice, California based fashion label founded by designer Heidi Kim. After top design posts at labels such as Armani Exchange and Rock and Republic, Heidi decided to launch her very first solo design effort to give women affordable, modern wardrobe essentials with an edge. The name Strong & Dickerson comes from the pair of Venice developers whose scenic canals were the only ones to escape backfilling due to austerity measures in the Great Depression. The line’s inaugural season will arrive in stores in Spring 2011.
