Snitch Like a Woman, Laugh Like a Hyena

Big June from B’klyn here, and I just finished watching the new hit Movie “Think Like a Man“ based off of the Steve Harvey Best seller book “Act like a lady, Think like a man“, to express my feeling about the movie on a whole I have to say… I loved it.  The Movie came out April 20th but I was really dead set against watching it, not to mention there were way too many (of my) people going to see it on opening night, so even if I did want to go it’s best to watch a movie of such high profile in the middle of the week. I saw it the Wednesday after opening night and still the theater was packed.

Snitch like a woman:

Now to really explain how good the movie is I have to give you some background about me and Steve Harvey. The year was 2010 My Baby Momma was prego and I spent a lot of nights at her place. Every Morning my Daughter’s mom would listened to Steve Harvey’s Morning show. He had a segment called “the strawberry letters” where women would send him letters and he would give them advice over the air, frequently quoting his 2009  best seller or   his upcoming book “Straight talk no chaser” (which also ended up being on the best sellers list). the one thing I would think as Steve would educated women as to the mind and methods of a man, was ”Fawking Steve Harvey, I wanna punch him in his throat!” “fawking trader”.

Loved it like a cupid:
Knowing the extent of Steve Harvey’s betrayal, when the movie came out I was the last person concerned about watching it, regardless of the all-star cast members like: Chris BrownGabrielle UnionMorris ChestnutTaraji P. Henson and Kevin Hart (to name a few). I figured it would be another man hater chick flick like “ Waiting to Exhale” or “ How Stella Got Her Groove Back  but I was pleasantly surprised that it was more like Two Can Play That GameBreakin’ All the Rules or Tyler Perry’s “I Can Do Bad All by Myself which were more like romantic  Comedies that were funny enough to distract from the fact that they were totally chick flicks.  The Latest addition to these totally hilarious distracting chick flicks that you’ll want to bring your smoking hot lady to is “Think like a Man”.

laughed like a Hyena:

Two words explain the key to this movie being so funny: Kevin Hart.  He single-handedly stole every scene from every other actor in the movie. It was almost like this was one of his stand up comedy shows with skits. I mean Kevin was just Seriously funny.  The other very talented actors seemed like mere supporting cast next to Kevin’s little big man appeal. Honestly fellas, you will be able to get around the fact that Steve puts the brothers on blast, just by the sheer humor of Kevin himself.  The movie which as you know explores the in’s and outs of relationships, and how today’s women can even the playing field with the men of the 21st century. Buy your tickets today and watch it ASAP.
