iPad Mini Makes Mediocre Debut

Greetings my blacren brethren, Big June from B’klyn here begrudgedly bringing you the less than spectacular specs (see video below for specs) of the highly anticipated, newly announced ipad mini. Honestly, regardless of how I feel about apple products, the truth is they make high-end quality equipment, period. I know it, all the tech bloggers know it, hell, most of the world knows it, and up until Steve Jobs untimely demise apple was leading in innovation as well. Even when they carelessly left out features their iphones that every other smartphone had as a standard, they still had standouts that no other manufacturer could compete with, and that brings us to October 23, 2012.

Almost as soon as the Nexus 7 hit the market, rumors started spreading about a coming iPad mini, the tech world trending words were “nexus 7″ and “iPad mini”. Apple enthusiast couldn’t wait to se what new and innovative features this new iPad would have; higher resolution? or a retina 2 screen? a new iOS? A quin-core processor? thought to text messaging? a robotic arm alarm clock to slap you and wake you up in the morning? what could it be? What it was, or rather what it appeared to be, was a last attempt to stay relevant by a company whose lead in the industry is slowly declining with each passing year. If you ask me, that is the reason for the senseless Samsung and Google lawsuits that Apple decided to file earlier this year. Everybody knows that all these other smartphones want the kind of respect and loyalty that Apple garnishes. Apple knew it too and loved that everybody, especially Samsung, was trying to be like them, but as the gap in Apple’s lead started to close they started to do things to keep the competitor from catching up so quickly, but that’s just my opinion, state your opinion about Apple and the new iPad mini in the comments section below the video.
