Big June here, and I swear that recently even me sitting in my chair causes my mind to drift, thought patterns shift making my third eye go awry, straying away from the everyday in and day out layout, as of current I’ve had a passion for distractions, my lapse in a jointing synapse have collapsed into a mirage of a collage made in the garage of my subconscious. my contents can neither confirm nor deny the frustration burning inside, I need a release like sitting on a cold commode until my brain fart’s..

Big June here Bringing in the New Year with a shyt load of smiles. My resolution is to make sure that I am not taking life too serious. There are a lot of reasons to smile and I need to utilize all of them, I advise you to do the same. Too many people walk around as fragile as tissue paper, letting every little mishap disrupt their day and they in turn disrupt yours. I refuse to do it this year screw the paper people with their overly sensitive ways. Enjoy life and find reasons to say: “cheese”. Remember this: you use more muscles to frown than you do to smile, so it should be a lot easier to “Show Your Teeth“. Lets use this new year to make our dreams come true or at least become a little happier, and May all of our haters and nay sayers look like bad jokes told by paper people.

This Past year was pretty good to Big June, I somehow put out some quality music at low cost, I rocked a few shows, expanded my crew, I met some new people (women included), made some good friends, reconnected with people I hadn’t seen in years and upgraded quite a few things in my possession. I really enjoyed 2009 it was pleasant to say the least, but with all that happened this year it seemed to fly by faster than superman stoked on uppers with a weak bladder and a sever case of Paruresis. I mean with a blink of an eye it was gone with no warning whatsoever. That being said I still feel like 2010 will also be my year. I wish all of my supporters the best as well as all of the Blacren visitors please join us for more interesting and exciting articles in the dawn of a new decade.

This is Big June and although my favorite color is Blue you can believe that I “Go Green”. yes I recycle when I’m able and I use a tote bag whenever possible to carry groceries home. I try to use energy saver light bulbs whenever possible but I fear that me doing it alone is not enough so now I am calling out to people like my boy Kris who doesn’t care about recycling and as that he and you watch this video and tell me if it doesn’t convince you to “Go Green” (more…)

Words of wisdom by: Big June from B’KLYN: when one follows the firefly, one must remember that it will chase the flame. Also when one sees a flame in it’s path sometimes the best move is to walk directly into it. I don’t know about you guys but it seems to me that the more I try to avoid the drama, I get sucked deeper into it. At least that’s how it was until I decided to embrace the drama instead of running from it. That doesn’t mean that I instigate drama, it just that I rolled with whatever happened letting things iron themselves out. This allowed me to soar like Icarus with the blueprints to the first iron wings. I say this to everyone going through drama with friends or family: find a way for everyone to be happy or else no one will be happy. -Big June-
